In one lesson, I learnt the key in getting a good shot is through framing. It is not good the if you do a long shot or a wide shot when you're filming one person. This is because majority of the space you do not need therefore it would be a waste of shot and would look pretty bad. 

Also another key element in good framing is to film the main subject in the centre. If they appear in the side, then we would not be able to identify if they are important in the scene.
