When I researched the films with the best cinematography, there has been may films that I particularity liked. For example the Donnie Darko extract:
I love the types of camera techniques used in this film, especially the opening. The camera tans as we see the new types of characters emerging, but the way it pans is different. It speeds the panning motion, and the slows down to see the actual character. I find that technique very good, in terms of visualizing.
Because I'm into crime, I watch Sherlock. Even though it's not a film it's a TV series, it has excellent cinematography. I love how graphics is used in Sherlock, it makes it look real and lets us into his head.
For our real film, I'd like to use some of the cinematography used in Sherlock, to make it look more processional and look good.
