A teen film is generally targeted to teens from the age of 12 and onwards. Many older people like to also watch it due to the fact it may underline themes and conventions which can relate to them, or they may also like to watch them because it brings back memories. Themes such as love, rebellion, popularity, conflict with parents may bring a much larger audience.
The sub genre that we've chosen is Chick-flick/ comedy- with culture and religion. People that love comedy, and love culture clashes will love our film. As it's seen to be a chick-flick, girls would be more interested, and it would have been a mainstream audience, where everyone would like to watch it.

| This screen shot shows what she likes and what she dislikes: She lives in London - north London, and lives with her family. She's 17 years old, and goes to C&I. From reading her information, we know that she's a practicing Muslim so obviously she'll understand how to pray or know the form of Islamic prayer. She'll be able to watch it and understand. She goes to cinema and likes to watch any type of film; horror, comedy, chick flick, inspiration. So this film would be perfect for her as it's petty inspirational. | |

| I looked down her listings for the music she listens to and this is what I found: ^ She listens to rap, hip hop R&B, and our film has a variety of different music that may appeal to her. |
 |
| This is her listings of TV shows that she watches: From this I c=an tell that she likes to watch stuff with elements of comedy, and has mystery and solving. |
 |
| This is a selection of films that she has watched, and I realised that she tends to watch cultural films. People that watch these tend to find the film funny and interesting. She watches the same thing like an average teen, and has also watched Indian, cultural movies. The three that I have annotated show that she may be able to understand the story line of our film. All these film contain life as we know it, the themes involved are very delicate and the story line help the viewers understand that this may be what happens in real life. Pressure, struggle and change as well as socially building us up; can reflect these themes throughout our film. |
 |
| The books she's read are very Islamic, she's read holy books such as the Qur'an so may have abetter understanding of our film than a non-religious person. Strong elements of Islam is pushed in our film, this gives a sense of uniqueness and more powerful. |

From the product that we have made, our chosen target audience is a niche audience. I think, that our product only attracts a selective audience. I believe that ''2LIVES'' attracts females aged 13- 25. This is mainly due to the fact it's about religion, and conflict is also involved. Our unique selling point is that it's to do with culture and that clashes with every day life, not many films are like this so in that sense, our film is unique. From feedback: it could attract other people from different religious background or cultures, as they might like to explore the ''Islamic'' topic. It can also appeal to Muslim families, demonstrating pressure on young people (mainly female). People that are interested in religion and culture which clashes in outside life may love to watch this film. Ash shown by the Facebook profile I found, people who read the Qumran or are religious in any sense, who love a bit of banter would love this film.
